Have you ever sung one of Barab’s “Parodies”?
Perhaps you’ve seen or sung a role in “Little Red Riding Hood”, his famous one act children’s opera.
Now is YOUR chance to ask BARAB about these pieces or any others he has written.

First of all let me say I love your work! I have a question about the balance you suggest between diction and tone quality in a piece like “Thirst” from Jewish Music from Oy to Vey. The comedy is so driven by the Jewish stereotypes and that is driven by the Jewish accent. What are a few simple diction modifications you suggest to keep the accent as consistent as possible when transitioning from the spoken text to the sung text?
